What is the best brand for a car stereo?

I got a new car and I am looking to upgrade the stereo in the car. I would like to get a red front plate because everything else is red.

Thank you! What is the best brand for a car stereo?
Alpine and Pioneer are probably the leaders for good head units among the main stream brands.

Kenwood, JVC, Clarion also make good products.

The elite brands would be Mcintosh and Nakamichi.

Eclipse used to be excellent, but they have gotten out of the 12v market.

Personally, I ran Blaupunkt HU's for several years and became a fan, but they are getting hard to find as well.

For the red faceplate you should be able to find plenty of options that allow you to change the color of the display.
Do you mean a lighted from plate? You'll have to check with your state's lighting laws to see what you can and can't have. If you need help with finding a good brand and wiring that up I can help. Anyway, here's what I suggest: Overall (these work for every category of car audio): Seas, DLS, TC Sounds, Rainbow, Sound Solution Audio (SSA), DynAudio, RE Audio, Audioque, Hertz, Image Dynamics, Morel, Peerless, Scanspeak, Digital Design, Fi.

Amp: JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Hifonics, Alpine, Infinity, Polk Audio, Boston Acoustics, Pioneer, Cerwin-Vega, Orion.

Speaker: Focal, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Infinity, Alpine, Cerwin-Vega, Boston Acoustics, Kenwood, Hifonics, Polk Audio, Orion, Pioneer.

Subwoofer: Fi, JL Audio, Focal, Alpine, Kicker, Cerwin-Vega, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, Hifonics, Infinity, Kenwood.

OEM Processors: Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Kicker, Hifonics.

Wire %26amp; RCA Cables: Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Monster.

Also, stick with name brand companies that follow the AWG system.

Head Unit: Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood.

The only place I recommend to buy any of these products are Crutchfield.com and the actual company's homepage that makes the products so you can get your warranty with the product.

Boss Audio 660CK will improve your listening experience. With two additional speakers and the ability to listen to music from several different kinds of storage devices, you have options you need to set the perfect mood for your commute or road trip.
Listen to LuxurySport. I nearly had a *****-fit because this question is asked all the time. Luxury listed everything exactly as I would have. What is the best brand for a car stereo?
