Single din is the skinny one. Double din usually have the large screen.

Where to buy one ... any local shop should have them or be able to get them for you. I encourage people to support their local community and shop at local businesses.

I'll let others give you all the grey market online resources that help fund terrorists. lol. What is the difference between a single and double din car stereo?
Car Manufacturers %26amp; Radio Manufacturers agreed on a standard sizing of radios called the DIN Standard. The outside size is to be 7" wide by 2'' high by 7" deep. This allowed the car manufacturers to make the opening for all future radios the same.

Now with the addition of more features and a screen, they agreed on the Double-DIN Standard , which is 7'' wide by 4" high by 7" deep. What is the difference between a single and double din car stereo?
It could well be the essential question to ask before laying down serious money to get a car DVD installed in the car.

1 Din car DVD is basically standard width and height while a 2 DIN player is twice the width and height, meaning extra sound equipment or a tuner can be added to the entertainment.

A double one will always be twice as large as a single and will feature something else besides just the basic DVD player.

there are kinds of DVD you can look on this web :http://www.12vcity.com
