Car Stereo??????????????

I'm just asking for some advice, i just got a new car and all it has is the built in speakers of the car, i've been looking for a subwoofer and some amps, but i have no idea what is good and what's not i don't even know the difference between these two things. I'm looking to make a sweet sound system in my car but don't know where to start.Car Stereo??????????????

First you need an aftermarket radio deck. Subs won't hook up to a stock deck. With the purchase of a deck, you need a wiring harness, and a dash kit. If youre going to get subs, then you need a wiring kit, which is a power supply for them. As far as subs and quality, depending upon youre price range alpine is a good product, and a little on the high end side for most consumers. A nice medium for price and quality is Kicker. Now with subs you should look at size and watts. The higher the wattage, the harder theyll hit. Now the amp for the sub(s) also has a wattage max. Example being if you have 2 subs at 1200 watts each and a 600 watt amp, then the subs will only operate at 300 watts each. All this information can be found at a local best buy or even Walmart. It does get pricy but in my opinion worth itCar Stereo??????????????

Start with what type of music you mostly listen to and go from there. Usually a pair of decent 10 or 12 inch subs running off 500 rms is a good place to start. Try Alpine or pioneer as they are a decent price and good quality. Keep recearching and you will find what you want.
