Car stereo?

i have a pioneer car stereo and when i turn it off and take the keys out of the egnition, it makes a beeping sound ( like 5 beeps ), it does not do that if i only turn it off and left the keys in....what does that mean?

i read the maneual....didnt mintion anything about it...it a premer stereoCar stereo?
I used to have a stereo several years ago that did that. It is to remind you to detach the detachable faceplate and take it with you. Very few people actually do that. I did for about a week, then I started stashing it under the seat. Eventually, I just left it in place. Some radios may have a way to disable the beeps.
Go to the manufacturer's website? I wish i could tell you, my sony does the same thing but it's normal, Does it sound like it's trying to tell you something like a warning sound, or a message beep? It's odd the manual doesn't say anything about beeps and yet it does.Car stereo?
if its a removeable face cd, its reminding you to take the face off. security. had one myself.
it is designed to do that! dont worry its not going to blow up! i have a pioneer they are made by the same company and mine does that also if you turn it off by hand it does not beep but if you turn it off by pulling out the key it does its just letting you know its going offCar stereo?
Just is reminding you to remove the face plate. Im sure of this
