i prefer aftermarket everything, but i've never owned a new car so i can't attest to the quality of their stereo's.
www.crutchfield.com is a good place to figure out what fits in your vehicle
www.sonicelectronix.com is my favorite place to buy aftermarket stereo equipment
local car audio retailers or places like circuit city or best buy are the best places to get installation of equipment
generally, aftermarket cd players put out better sound quality than stock cd players, same with speakers, but like i said: i've never owned one of the newer vehicles in production.f
if you are satisfied with your current stereo but just want some more bump, hit up an online retailer such as the ones i mentioned. they can provide you with a little bump in the trunk to earth shattering bass.Car Stereo?
The factory stuff is of good, durable quality. Usually just a sub woofer with a small amp makes it really good without spending a ton %26amp; it helps keep the car's value.
