Car stereo does not work sometimes when I start my car?

My car stereo sometimes does not work right away when my car starts, after the stereo stops working the only thing I can do to fix it is to unplug the wires, then reconnect them. This is an aftermarket pioneer stereo, so my first question is, does it not work because of the wiring or because of someother reason. I believe I might have connected the ground wire wrong because i did not connect it the fram, instead I connected it to the wiring harness is this correct or not.Car stereo does not work sometimes when I start my car?
The wirings could have some loose contact somewhere. Try changing the wirings or compare it to a friends installation. Go on and use a body ground. Never ground the speakers to the body, just have the power supply negative going to body ground. Perhaps the harness ground wire goes to the frame. You need a schematic to check that. Here you go:
